Welcome to the 2017 edition of Harvests of New Millennium. I am quite thankful and indebted to all creative artists across the globe published in this issue. The latest issue of Harvests of New Millennium features haiku, poems, artwork, book reviews and several other attractive features. The poems and haiku included in this edition reveal a remarkable lyrical intensity. Some of these masterpieces written in a simple style full of cadence and simple harmony will certainly attract all readers due to their spontaneous way of composing.
Both poetry and painting are sacred and uplifting, and their main aim is an exploration of the inner world to feed our creative soul. The poet has been aptly called ‘the priest of the invisible’. Wallace Stevens remarks: “To a large extent, the problems of poets are the problems of painters and poets must often turn to the literature of painting for a discussion of their own problems.”
It is a great pleasure to acknowledge, with a very deep feeling of gratitude, the kind cooperation, interest, and help of all creative artists included in this edition.
