My purpose of research is to present Naipaul s perceptions about India based on his fiction and nonfiction as I have mentioned above. Though much critical material is available, none of the books is totally dedicated to Naipaul s view about India. Though Sudha Rai wrote a book that deals only with Indian subjects, it has become outdated after the publication of India: Million Mutinies Now. Moreover she does not deal with all the facets of Naipaulian viewpoint. Hence in the following pages a minute analysis of Naipaul s works shall be made keeping in view his perceptions about India and how they have changed with the advancement of his age and time. At the end, I along with the editor included the concept of linguistic distance and its effect on Linguistic Distance.

	Mr. Krishnaveer Abhishek Challa (b. 1991) is currently working as Soft Skills Trainer cum Faculty at Department of Foreign Languages, Andhra University.
