Welcome to the latest 2015 edition of Harvests of New Millennium. I am so indebted to the creative artists for their poems and artworks included in this latest issue of Harvests of New Millennium. In this issue I have tried my utmost to include only those poems that have directness, simplicity, inventive genius and vigor. This issue also contains haiku, artwork, book reviews and several other attractive features. Its main purpose is to encourage excellent contemporary artwork, haiku and postmodern creative writing. The truth is that we are committed to the promotion of creative artists across the globe. The objective is to publish the excellent creative writings and artworks by international artists.
It is really very painful and sad to see the ever present strength of evil and violence in the world today. Charles Bukowski's following immortal lines aptly reveal the grim reality of the modern world:
there is enough treachery, hatred violence absurdity in the average
human being to supply any given army on any given day
and the best at murder are those who preach against it
and the best at hate are those who preach love
and the best at war finally are those who preach peace
those who preach god, need god
those who preach peace do not have peace
those who preach peace do not have love
The following wise words by John Lennon are truly inspiring in this dreadful world 'where the ignorant armies clash by night':
Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace
I am highly grateful to all creative artists and poets published in this latest edition of the Harvests of New Millennium. There is no doubt that without their generous help it is not possible to publish this edition. Best Wishes for a Happy New Year.
