Poetry is my love and passion. Since my childhood, I have been having much pleasure from literature, especially from poetry. The poetry of the English poets (from Milton to T S Eliot) has influenced my life so much. I am very much impressed by the poetry of the Indian poets (from the Sufi poets to Rabindranath Tagore). I can't think of myself without poetry. The world of poetry is fully different from reality. It is full of love, beauty and happiness. It gives me an aesthetic pleasure and Heavenly joy which are not possible to enjoy in this mundane world. I can reach Heaven with the help of imagination which is the key to my creativity. |
