When I was sixty-eight years young, I was inspired in church to write and publish my first poem LOVE NEVER DIES. I sent it to The National Library of Poetry on a whim and was surprised to find out it won The Editor s Choice Award. Since then, I have had approximately 800 poems published in various books and magazines. This poetry book is a compilation of most of the poems I have written in the past which are included in my first book of poetry, THE SANDS OF RHYME, and poems I have written recently. The publisher of THE SANDS OF RHYME passed away after the second edition of 500 books were sold. |
