Arun replied happily. Eric then hailed a yellow cab and they made their way downtown to what was once a favorite hangout during their Pratt Institute days. In the cab Eric animatedly began describing his hit and run experiences with girls who expectedly were not confined to the female crowd at Columbia. Part of the reason Eric preferred McSurley s in Manhattan to Alibi Bar near the Pratt campus, where most of the other Pratt students drank, was the need for oneupmanship with respect to his fellow students. |
