(A LIFE GRANTED) This poem conveys a sense of mystery and wonder, evoking images of the vast expanse of space and the endless cycle of creation and transformation. It seems that the poet is describing the cosmic dance of life, where the seeds of creation are constantly being sown and transformed, emerging as something new and beautiful. The "heart of God" spinning in space suggests a divine force that is ever-present and always in motion, while the "primordium" and "beginning being" speak to the origins of all things. The "shadows of shadows" that flow from one to another suggest the interconnectedness of all things, as each transformation leads to the next in an unbroken chain. The imagery of something "slithering from the morass" suggests that there is still an element of unpredictability and chaos in this process, as creation is not always neat and orderly. However, there is also a sense of purpose and direction, as everything seems to be moving "towards the glow of a first morning." Overall, all words paint a picture of a universe that is constantly in flux, with nothing ever truly static or fixed. This is a universe that is always becoming, always transforming, and always full of surprises.
