Lost in the colors contains 60 previously unpublished love poems. Many of them were written during the pandemic lockdown. During that time, we felt trapped within the walls of our home, which, for some reason, felt, not like a refuge, but like a space that was too small to breathe and relax. These poems were written when Italy – and, more precisely, Bergamo, where I live – was the epicenter of the epidemic. We really did feel lost among the colors, which changed frequently depending on the situation, confusing us still further. A phone call or a simple conversation seemed to bring us the world. I hope that the poetic collection Lost in the colors brings a smile to your face and reminds you of the chaos of feelings and emotions that only love and its nuances can evoke.

IRMA KURTI
	IRMA KURTI is an Albanian poet, writer, lyricist, journalist, and translator and has been writing since she was a child. She is a naturalized Italian. All her books are dedicated to the memory of her beloved parents, Hasan Kurti and Sherife Mezini, who have supported and encouraged every step of her literary path. Irma Kurti has published 26 books in Albanian, 21 in Italian, 13 in English, and two in French. She has also translated 13 books by different authors, and all of her own books into Italian and English. Irma Kurti is one of the most translated and published Albanian poets. Her books have been published in the United States, Canada, France, Italy, Romania, Turkey, Kosovo, the Philippines, Cameroon, India, Chile, and Serbia.
