I believe poetry works if it is true. My poems are a fusion of fact and fiction as they spring from real communion. As I spin the yarn, the narrative thread rises to the surface.I have tried my hand at everything haikus, tercets, quintets, quinaries, quintains, quintillas, sonnets and odes in my own way. When I listened to the 1959 song Oh! Carol' in 1976 I never imagined 'the reel Carol' would morph into 'a real lady' and blow into my life becoming its carol.
