Ken Slaughter

Ken Slaughter discovered the tanka form in 2011. In 2012 he won second place in the Tanka Society of America annual contest, and also received an honorable mention for one of his other entries. In 2015 he won the contest and received honorable mentions for two of his other entries. In 2016 and 2017, Ken served as vice president of the Tanka Society of America. His poems continue to be published in several online and print journals. Jan Slaughter took all of the photos for this book. Jan and Ken live in Massachusetts with their two cats. |
