dev ganguly (Debabrata Ganguly, b. 1938) has been writing consistently though infrequently, poems and prose pieces, both in English and Bengali, throughout his life, and they lie scattered in magazines and journals extinct as well as existent. By profession, a teacher of English literature in a University (now retired) in Bihar, Dr. Ganguly lives in a small town in West Bengal. His collection of poems in English, Moments, published in 1995, got wide acclaim and that inspires him to publish another now. The poems are arbitrarily selected though an invisible thread of emotion binds them together. |
