Angad Singh Saluja

An MBA in Finance from Icfai Business School and with handful of experience in the banking industry, Mr. Angad Singh Saluja has come a long way in the last few years with his entrepreneurial skills after being associated with Reliance Mutual Fund and ING Bank. He now heads his own business of auto security components and also has a firm which caters to E-Commerce supply. He completed his Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) Degree from Delhi University in 2008 and always was seen taking a keen interest in seminars, symposiums, group discussions and debates throughout his student days. He used to write only for self till last year as he points out but reading out some poems to certain friends in their gloomy days made him witness the change in them. That is when he struck a connection with everyone and decided to share his writing which could capture real life instances and motivate people. Being famous has always attracted him from childhood as he says but the fame should come only after creating a difference in the society and benefitting people in some way. He plans to take up writing as a full time career and learn from writers across the globe. His poem “The Waiting Heart” has been published in June 2012 Edition of “The Taj Mahal Review” which is Cyberwit’s International Journal devoted to Arts, Literature, Poetry and Culture. He is also an active member of poetry groups like “Delhi Poetree” and “Caferati” which have poetic readings every month in the capital. They at Delhi Poetree are also organizing the “Thousand Poets Reading” starting October 28, 2012 which would feature 52 week of poetic readings of some great poets from all over India. Also two of his poems on worldwide problems “Global Warming” and “World Peace” have received appreciation from different groups and been selected for publication in an upcoming anthology “The Poetic Bliss” by CLRI. He has been honored with an invitation to recite these poems in the “International Poetry Festival” in December 2012 at Guntur, Andhra Pradesh where poets from all over the world would be gathering. Currently he is also working on his untitled fiction novel which he feels would be loved by each and every person having a heart. Being an extrovert and believing that marketing runs in his blood, he plans to go very aggressive on the book promotion side. He has always been very active on the social media side which he believes is a great platform for advertising. Currently he already has a huge fan base of readers increasing everyday on his official page as a ‘Writer’ on Facebook and Twitter. Also he plans to get his book launched in a formal event with media coverage inviting some known politicians, dignitaries, people and poets of different groups which would ensure good sale numbers of the book on the very first day. He also plans to visit all his educational institutions till date thereby promoting his book among professors, teachers and students which he thinks would give him a good reach in terms of the readers. |
